Introduction

I love being a developer and the possibilities that a simple line of code can bring to our lives.

São Paulo, Brasil, it's 1999, and I am in front of my computer, I click Starcraft Broodwar. I press enter, type lines of code, like the genius programmer I am, and re-make the game 😃 Just kidding, it wasn't code, but simple phrases that gave me in-game invincibility and wealth. I felt powerful! I realized the potential a single line of words in a computer could make!

A year later, I moved to the United States where I got a High School Degree and took some coursework towards a Finance degree at Loyola Marymount University. I found the classes at LMU interesting enough; but, not excitable. Enter COVID.

COVID for all, was not easy. It wasn't for me too, but it gave me an epiphany. Even if I may not ever be the best in the field (and who is, only a few) I should still pursue my passion: technology. So I attend Actualize Bootcamp, and I absolutely love it! I am still learning but hopefully I will be able to code like Takuya Matsuyama.

A software engineer with a passion to discover new problem solving possibilities in technology. A former small business manager who developed the skill to find creative solutions to new and unique problems. This has given me the capacity to be level headed during high stress situations, and develop my emotional quality to deliver and receive effective criticism. I incorporate that mental paradigm in my drive to learn, teach, and code in Ruby, Rails, PostgreSQL and front end languages. Due to my voracity with growth, and maximizing my potential, I am always intrigued in new technologies, and programming languages. I thrive on learning, and improving myself as well as giving others space to grow into their own desired potential.
